CAREERS - Audit Technician, Team Lead (temp-to-hire)

Technology Center - Garden Grove
7:00am - 3:30pm M-F, and overtime as required
  • High school education or higher.
  • Recommend selections that meet the customer's needs and emphasize selling points of items such as quality, versatility, company productivity standards etc.
  • Assemble customized computer systems based upon customer specifications; troubleshoot system components to ensure quality of work; assist with quality control activities by checking the work of technicians.
  • Repair computer systems and other peripheral equipment; conduct a variety of diagnostic tests to determine repairs needed; make necessary repairs in a timely basis;
  • communicate with all levels of managements and sales team as necessary to determine problem areas and repairs needed; ensure the highest quality of work produced.
  • Provide technical support to staff technicians regarding hardware, installation and other systems issues; assist sales team with technical support issues.
  • Perform daily quality check procedures as required.
  • Track and inventory vendor supplied service parts for equipment under repair; order parts as necessary; follow company established policies regarding the safekeeping and security of equipment under repair, departmental equipment and parts
  • Prepare a variety of paperwork to document work in progress, completed work, and other necessary tracking paperwork; submit required paperwork on a timely basis to department management
  • Moderate proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Outlook
  • Knowledge of Great Plains
  • Extensive knowledge of PC hardware, software
  • Must have CTIA A+ Certification
  • Dell Warranty Certification
  • Completion of a technical training program in PC repair.
  • 1 to 3 years related supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training required.
  • Dell Warranty Certification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide superior customer service and maintain cooperative working relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work autonomously or with a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively on a one-on-one basis or in group setting.
  • Ability to exercise strict confidentiality
