CAREERS - Lease Specialist (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: 
Corporate Office - Costa Mesa
7:30am - 4:30pm M-F, and overtime as required.
 
Education/Certification:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience is preferred
 
Responsibilities:
  • Contact customers with pricing information, request financial statements, follow-up on outstanding documentation and negotiate closure
  • Notify customer of termination time frames, new processes, and new programs when required
  • Contact customers, vendors, and corporate employees to structure front-end deals in order to facilitate administrative requirements
  • Resolution of customer inquiries on schedules, proposals, equipment lease base, contractual terms and conditions
  • Independently intervene with accounting, trade departments and customers to research and resolve issues
  • Find solutions to answer customer inquiries by the understanding of Insight Investments system applications, contractual terms and conditions
  • Ensure that the customer understands their contractual obligations
  • Responsible for providing customer service to Insight's customers and vendors
  • Equipment entry into front-end Leasing program
  • Create and maintain accurate and complete documentation and lease files to facilitate research and track the status of transactions
  • Order placement with outside vendors and invoice reconciliation to include: preparation of partial acceptances, and processing documents for bank line advance, and A/P use
  • Miscellaneous duties to include; filing, promptly returning phone calls, UCC filings, trouble shooting
  • Update internal logs regularly to keep track of needed funds
  • Prepare final docs after the schedule has closed
  • Ensure all invoices are in house and everything balances
  • Prepare multiple copies of the docs and send them to the Lessee, communicate to Funding and Billing Departments
 
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years equipment leasing experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide superior customer service and maintain cooperative working relationships
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work autonomously or with a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively on a one-on-one basis or in group setting
  • Ability to exercise strict confidentiality
  • Excellent presentation skills during telephone calls and customer visits
  • Must be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast paced environment, with the ability to manage and meet firm deadlines
 
Skills/Abilities:
  • Moderate proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel
  • Knowledge of Lease Plus, Lease Sales Manager, and Crystal Reports would be a plus
